Harvest of Coconut

Pictures from traditional coconut harvesting in Thai borderlands close to Burma. When on a day bike trip, by chance, I noticed these people, living in a remote area beyond a rivulet. I watched them letting fall and collecting coconuts, did not dare to cross the bridge, before they made the gesture, and then gave me one coconut to drink on the spot and another one to take for later, as a present. Heart touching moments.
